We have a challenging and rewarding opportunity as a Maintenance Leading Hand – Fixed Plant Mechanical position awaiting you at our unique Kanowna Belle Operation. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team on the convenience of a 5/2/4/3 (10 hour days) residential roster.
The successful applicant must reside in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder Region.


Here’s what awaits you:

  • Carryout maintenance activities on all Fixed Plant Equipment, as directed, in a safe and efficient manner, whilst adhering to Company Standards, Policies and Procedures
  • Execute the work in accordance with the schedule, scope, quality standards and within agreed timeframes. Record relevant job information during execution to later capture in Pronto
  • Order parts and materials for Work Orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and escalate any issues in a timely manner
  • Developmental opportunity to possibly act as step-up for Kanowna Belle Maintenance Supervisor on an as required basis
  • Work closely with other Processing functional areas, Processing Supervisors and Metallurgical team to achieve good plant reliability.
  • Actively involved with major shutdown planning and execution of agreed plans.
  • Family friendly residential roster ensuring you are home every night with a fortnightly long weekend!

 

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: The successful applicant will have 4 years minimum experience in the Mining Industry with demonstrated experience in fault-finding and diagnostics. Experience in Hydraulic and Pneumatic equipment will be highly regarded, along with experience working in a fixed plant environment.


Qualifications: A current “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s License and Trade Certificate in Mechanical Fitting and Machining or Boilermaker/Fabrication.
