We have an enticing Maintenance Coordinator position awaiting you at the iconic KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Mobile Maintenance team on the family friendly residential roster of 8:6, 12hr days working less than 10 minutes from home or FIFO from Perth.

Here’s what awaits you: 

• Driving accountability of the KCGM Maintenance Contractors to deliver optimal support to the mining team through direct field leadership and engagement.
• Leading the teams in a safe and productive work environment by ensuring all work practices/procedures meet statutory, Company WHS and company operational standards within the Maintenance Department.
• Providing coaching to contractors and NSR work groups around safe systems of work, critical control risk standard by using NSR STARR Core Values frame.
• Being the point of contact for open pit maintenance aligning with Production Supervision team. Dispatch Supervisors and Co-ordinator.
• Communicating objectives of the department with all maintenance contractors as directed by Mine Maintenance Superintendent.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience:  A minimum of Ten (10) years mechanical maintenance experience including a minimum of Five (5) years in a Supervisor role in a similar sized operation, Strong leadership experience and ability to engage and empower large teams, Experience in performance management of team members with the ability to coach, mentor and empower others, Excellent computer literacy with ability to use integrated management systems, Microsoft office suite, INX, Pronto & AMT, Strong understanding of Maintenance work management processes, Awareness of the Mines Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.

Qualifications: Mechanical Trade or Engineering qualification, Formal Leadership and Supervisory Training (Desirable), Section 26,  Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence.
