Injury Management Advisor wanted to join our Kalgoorlie Operations team, 5:2/4:3 roster, centrally located office, Kalgoorlie Residential Only.

Northern Star Mining Services are seeking an experienced Injury Management Advisor to join our Kalgoorlie Operations Team. The successful applicant will be offered a 5:2/4:3 roster at our centrally located offices. The Injury Management Advisor reports to the Safety Training Manager and the primary role is to ensure the health of all workers through the proactive injury management, facilitation of workers compensation processes and general health and wellbeing promotion strategies.

  • Kalgoorlie Residential Position 
  • 5:2/4:3 10-hour roster
  • Centrally located Kalgoorlie office

 

Experience: 

  • Minimum three years occupational health/injury management experience, preferably in the mining industry or remote community, Occupational Health, Nursing, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapy or Exercise Physiologist qualifications desirable,
  • Knowledge and understanding of Fitness for Work requirements, Ergonomics, Workers Compensation and Occupational Health Rehabilitation Services.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate IV in Work, Health and Safety, Injury Manager or Return to Work Coordinator Certificate
  •  St John Senior First Aid certificate or equivalent
  •  Current “C” Class Western Australian Driver’s Licence
  • Awareness of the Workers’ Compensation and Injury Management Act 1981
