About the opportunity:
Northern Star Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Health & Safety Administrator to join the growing team at our Kalgoorlie Operations. This is offered as a Residential 5/2, 4/3 10-hour roster. This role will provide administrative, data management and procedural support to our Health & Safety team.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Provide administration support to the Health & Safety team and ensure all administration functions and tasks associated with the position are undertaken and completed in a timely and efficient manner.
- Support Site Administrators as may be required based on operational demand.
- Assist the Health & Safety team in preparing and providing information to all personnel regarding health, safety and training matters.
- Compile site H&S reports, inclusive of legislative reporting functions as required.
- Report any trends within safety statistics that may be of concern.
- Active participation in all communication and awareness systems.
- Proactive involvement with continuous H&S improvement processes.
- Maintain relevant databases and inform relevant Stakeholders regarding any concerns.
- Collate and enter data into the relevant Company databases and systems.
- Facilitate requisitioning & receipt of H&S goods & services.
- Arrange travel and accommodation requirements.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
2 years' experience in a similar role and/or mine site administration experience. INX and Pronto experience highly regarded.
Qualifications:
Qualification in Business Administration (preferred) and current Australian C-Class Drivers Licence
