Northern Star Resources have a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Geotechnical Technician at our world-class, KCGM Super pit Operation.

- The successful candidate will be providing logistical and administrative support to our Geotechnical team.
- Working a 11-hour day on an 8:6 roster, full-time, Kalgoorlie-based residential role, allows for great work-life balance, and an optimal lifestyle in the Goldfields.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience: Experience working in Geotechnical or Geology support roles. Experience in geotechnical monitoring systems including Slope stability monitoring radars, prisms, and vibrating wire piezometers. Basic knowledge and experience in database applications. Experience in mine surveying methods. Working knowledge of electronics and radio telecommunications. Basic to intermediate knowledge of mine planning software.
Qualifications: Intermediate level of computer literacy, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel. Current unencumbered Western Australian Licence.
