We are seeking a talented and dynamic Finance Superintendent to join our team at the KCGM Operations, with focus on leading and coordinating our Finance Team. This position is a Kalgoorlie residential role, working a family friendly 5/2 4/3, 9-hour day roster.
The Finance Superintendent will build and lead a high-performing team to deliver budgets, forecasts, and reporting commitments, additionally meeting corporate and government compliance requirements in a timely and accurate manner. Partnering with operations to increase business value and managing risks is also an expectation of the position, as is building a culture of trust, accountability and continuous improvement that reflects KCGM's Values.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a Senior Finance role, including budgeting, monthly management accounting reporting, and commercial business processes and controls
- Bachelor of Commerce, or relevant tertiary qualification, CA or CPA Qualified
- Experience in leading finance teams, including the capacity to motivate, mentor and influence others in a positive manner both within the finance function and across the business.
- Conducting audits to ensure processes and procedures are compliant.
- Experience in successfully optimising systems, processes, and initiatives to improve financial performance and reporting.
- Report writing and data analysis.
- Ability to think strategically and commercially, approaching solutions creatively and consideration of organisation-wide impacts.
- Must reside within the Goldfields region, or willing to be relocated to Kalgoorlie.
- Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence

- Post graduate qualifications
- Experience in a gold or mineral processing environments
