We have an enticing (Fleet Management systems) FMS Superintendent position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Superpit that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Team on the convenience of a 5:2/4:3, Kalgoorlie day shift roster.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Being responsible, accountable and providing effective leadership and direction to the Wenco mine site team.
- Liaising with shift Superintendents and Engineers to minimize production and maintenance delays. Liaising with other department personnel superintendents on operational and improvement capabilities.
- Analysing production data and make recommendations on projects to improve productivities. Ensuring spatial model is audited and updated daily, investigating any anomalies.
- Driving cost reduction initiatives in line with site KPI’s.
- Ensuring company safety procedures, safe working practices and Safety Lifesaving Choices are strictly followed. All accidents/near miss incidents within area of responsibility are reported. All legislative & regulative processes are strictly followed.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years working with Fleet Management systems such as Wenco or similar at advanced user level
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operations
- Strong people management skills and ability to manage team conflict
- Strong planning, organisational and decision-making skill
- Computer literacy, calm, clear, concise communicator
- Experience or proven ability to multi task and prioritise under pressure
- Ability to undertake improvement projects based upon data analysis and stakeholder engagement.
- Ability to resolve multi-dimensional operational issues
- Able to act as a strong and positive example to the work force
- Knowledge of mine workplace safety requirements and procedures
