NSSM is committed to providing top-tier, in-house support for KCGM’s Super Pit Operations, all while embodying Northern Star’s STARR core values.

We are actively seeking experienced Dump Truck Operators for our Kalgoorlie operations, working on a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, local residential options or DIDO from nearby suburbs, with rotating day and night shifts.

Here’s what awaits you: 

• Consistently achieve or exceed productivity targets.
• Safely operate 793 haul trucks to transport ore and waste in line with production schedules.
• Follow designated haul routes and comply with mine traffic management procedures.
• Work closely with excavator operators, dispatch, and supervisors to ensure efficient loading and dumping.
• Maintain awareness of pit conditions, hazards, and changing work areas.
• Operate equipment in line with site policies, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
• Complete production records and shift handover notes accurately.
• Contribute to a safe, team-focused work environment and support continuous improvement initiatives.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence. 
• Minimum 12 months experience operating on Dump Trucks in a surface mining environment.
• Sound knowledge of surface mining and safety procedures.
• Team-focused attitude and reliable work ethic.
