We have an enticing Condition Monitoring Technician residential position awaiting you at the world class Kanowna Belle that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed technical team on the convenience of an 5/2, 4/3 (10hr day shift) roster. 

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Execute the work in accordance with the schedule, scope, quality standards and within agreed timeframes. Record relevant job information during Execution to later capture in Pronto. Escalate issues to Kanowna Belle Maintenance Supervisor in a timely manner and maintain the housekeeping of the lubrication shed to a high standard ensuring dust, dirt and rubbish is removed on a daily basis and disposed of in the correct manner
  • Raise new Work Requests for new or additional work and Ensuring Work Requests contain sufficient detailed scoping information and supporting documents, drawings and photos to allow for efficient and effective planning of works. Complete actual work hours (Time Confirmations) against Work Orders. Enter Work History notes for completed work and close the Work Order
  • Return physical documents (Work Orders, inspection sheets, service sheets etc.) to the Maintenance Supervisor for record keeping. Order parts and materials (add Components) for new Priority 1 and 2 Work Orders as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
  • Assume duties, as directed, during Shutdown Execution to enable the safe and efficient completion of works and ensure compliance with the Work Health & Safety Act 2020 and the Work Health and Safety (Mines)Regulations 2022
  • Demonstrate a pro-active approach to safety in line with Northern Star standards. Proactive in approach to environmental concerns and display a clear commitment to responsible environmental management and prioritise safety in all tasks and activities

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: Experience in the mining industry, 2 years minimum have good communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices

Qualifications: Relevant experience in the condition monitoring of Fixed Plant equipment and Current “C” class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
