We have openings for Mine Surveyors at Thunderbox, Jundee, and Bronzewing. Whether you are interested in underground or open pit positions, we have options to accommodate your preferences. Here’s what awaits you:
- Oversee the survey marks out of drill and blast rings, mine heading development, exploration drilling and raise bore drilling.
- Survey control for all related mining activities.
- Assist with survey plans including survey instructions (horizontal and vertical development), end of month surveys, dig permits and emergency response plans.
- Survey of end of month development and ore stockpiles, stope surveys, heading development, geological mapping and surface works when required.
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring:
Expertise and Accomplishments:
Candidates should hold an Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying, along with 1-2 years of practical experience, preferably in a fast-paced underground mining environment. Desirable skills include proficiency with Deswik software packages, strong personal organizational abilities, and forward-planning capabilities.
