Opportunity
Northern Star Resources are seeking Expressions of Interest for motivated and trade passionate individuals to join our Maintenance Teams as an Apprentice in 2025. Opportunities available fly-in-fly-out from Perth, or residential in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder area. Applicants will be contacted when shortlisting commences in early August for a January'25 start.
Northern Star’s 2025 apprenticeship intake will focus on the following disciplines:
- Fixed Plant Electricians
- Fixed Plant Mechanics
- Light Vehicle Mechanics
- Boilermakers
- Auto Electricians
- Mobile Plant / Heavy Diesel Mechanics
- Refrigeration Mechanics
Requirements
- Australian working rights.
- Ability to commit to 4 years apprenticeship.
- Minimum completion of year 12 or equivalent.
- Willing to work in different shifts and varying rosters.
- Pre-apprenticeship or similar (desirable).
- Current manual “C” class Western Australia Drivers Licence (desirable).
- Have a genuine passion and interest in the apprenticeship you are applying for.
- Good communication skills with the ability to work within a team.
- You are self-motivated and consistently aim to deliver quality outcomes, with a strong focus on safety.
