About the opportunity:

Northern Star has a challenging and rewarding opportunity for an experienced Senior Site Administrator to oversee the site administration department and ensure the effective delivery of services as required at our world-class Thunderbox Operations. This opportunity is offered on 8 days on, 6 days off roster, FIFO ex Perth.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Establishing appropriate systems and required procedures, looking for any continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Day-to day interactions with the village requirements at Thunderbox and Bronzewing managing maintenance requests, and liaising with the maintenance department for general camp maintenance.
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with the administration teams within the long-term contractors onsite. 
  • The management of the INX Inflight and +Process systems, inclusive of day to day processing, requesting INX accounts for contractors, ensuring processing of requests are completed in a timely manner.
  • Training and development of direct reports, including ensuring a continuous improvement approach to all processes are implemented.
  • Processing all End of Month requirements in a timely manner and liaison with Accountant/leaders.
  • Complete ongoing required monthly and quarterly purchase orders
  • Processing invoices and ad hoc purchases orders when required
  • Coordination of all shutdown activities, inclusive of INX processing, accommodation management and additional plane requirements.

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: A minimum 5 years experience in site administration, previous FIFO experience is also essential. INX and Pronto systems experience required.
  • Qualification: Current Australian C - Class Drivers Licence
  • Passion for growth: Genuine passion for the Australian gold mining industry with well developed organisational and communication skills
