We are offering you the chance to build a career within the assets & services sector of the mining industry as a Technician – Trades Assistant at our KCGM Operations. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team on the convenience of a 7/7 (12 hour) day and night shift residential roster.

Here’s what awaits you:

• Utilising skills and knowledge to carryout maintenance-based tasks on all Fixed Plant Equipment,
• Carrying out maintenance-based tasks as directed, in a safe and efficient manner, whilst adhering to Company Standards, Policies and Procedures.
• Training to operate mobile equipment including but not limited to Franna crane, EWPs and Forklifts.  

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Qualifications:

• Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence

Desired Experience & Competencies:

• Experience in the mining industry, 1 year minimum
• Enter and Work in Confined Spaces
• Gas Test Atmospheres
• Provide First Aid
• Work Safely at Heights
• High Risk Work Licence – Elevated Work Platform
• High Risk Work Licence – Forklift
• High Risk Work Licence – Rigging Basic
• Computer Literacy – Microsoft Office, Pronto Xi
• Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices
