Here’s what awaits you:

The Reliability Superintendent reports to the Asset & Services Manager, and their purpose is to coordinate and supervise the reliability team to collate and identify the root cause of downtime, from this determine and deliver equipment strategies, identify defect elimination, and produce life cycle analysis to ensure that optimum safety and plant operability is achieved throughout the fixed plants at KCGM.


To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in Mechanical engineering from a recognised tertiary institution.

  Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of reliability/Mechanical engineering experience.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the supervision of an engineering and maintenance team, with the ability to coach, mentor, and influence others
  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Experience in a gold or mineral processing environment
  • Proficiency in reading mechanical drawings, solid analytical skills, and ability to think laterally.
  • Ability to diagnose problems and identify potential solutions by thinking outside of the box and delivering alternative outcomes
  • Ability to think strategically and commercially, approach solutions creatively, and consider organization-wide impacts
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved procedures and practices.
  • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations / WHS.
