We have a unique Paste Plant Supervisor position awaiting you at our world class Kanowna Belle Operation that boasts a 10+year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team on the convenience of a 5/2 4/3 10 hour day shift roster.
** As this is a residencial role, the succesful applicant will reside in Kalgoorlie-Boulder**


Although not essential, previous experience in Paste Filling Plants would be favoured as this role would be suited to someone with previous Processing Supervisor experience.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

 

  • Actively lead a team of Paste Plant Technicians to safely achieve operational targets
  • Provide technical and scheduling support for the shift crews as well as develop and implement training plans for operators
  • Coordinate Paste Plant activities between Maintenance, Underground Mining and Processing departments to ensure achievement of paste plant scheduling targets
  • Develop and implement Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work systems to cultivate a strong awareness in the arena of safety

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
 

 Experience: A Minimum of 2 years experience in Processing or Paste Plant Operations with strong leadership skills proven through previous supervisory roles, a demonstrated passion and drive for safety, teamwork and team development (this role will be responsible for implementing developmental plans for our Process Technicians.)  The succesful applicant will have excellent communications skills and the ability to continuously improve safety and continuous improvement process to ensure achievement of production targets.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
