Northern Star Mining Services are looking for Experienced Underground Operator – Mine Control to join our fast-growing Kalgoorlie Operations. 7/7 lifestyle roster, Kalgoorlie Residential - be home every night.

 

 

Here’s what awaits you:

  • Be home every night, Kalgoorlie Residential ONLY. FIFO will not be offered.

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

Experience: The successful candidate will have experience working in a similar role, or experience in a supervisory or coordination role in an underground mining environment, with proven knowledge in radio communications being used across multiple channels.  It would also be beneficial if you had experience with Micromine 3, and a good working knowledge of the machinery and equipment used in an underground mining operation. 

 

Qualifications: Must have an unencumbered Manual ‘C’ Class drivers license and must live in Kalgoorlie, as FIFO will not be offered.  Ability to multi-task will be highly regarded, along with great communication skills and sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office systems.
