Maintenance Planner 

 

We have an enticing Maintenance Planner position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Operation that boasts a 10+year mine life.
Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed team on the convenience of a
5/2/4/3 (10 hour day shift only) residential roster.

 

Here’s what awaits you:

 

  • Accurately plan all corrective, preventative and/or shut maintenance to maximise efficient and effective execution of the maintenance team
  • Develop accurate Work Packs that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance execution
  • Improve business systems through Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives
  • Be considered a leader in Work Management and be able to provide coaching and training effectively

 

To thrive in this role, you’ll need:

 

Desired Experience & Competencies:

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience in the mining industry
  • Minimum 2 years as a Maintenance Planner at another mine site
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Suite and Pronto Xi required.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrate ability to maintain or exceed best industry practice in all Work Management tasks.
  • Flexibility to adapt to improved Asset Management procedures and practices.
  • St Johns Senior First Aid certificate (desirable).
  • Awareness of the Mine Safety and Inspection Act & Regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Current “C” Class Western Australian Drivers Licence
  • Engineering Degree or relevant Trade Certificate
  • Asset Management Certification
