We have an enticing Load & Haul Administrator position awaiting you at the world class KCGM Superpit Operation that boasts a +10-year mine life. Promising a long term and fulfilling future, join our esteemed Open Pit Mining team on the convenience of a Kalgoorlie-based residential 8:6 roster, 11 hour days.
Here’s what awaits you:
- Ordering & managing general & special consumables for Open Pit Operations.
- Oversight of department expenses, requisitions, purchases & EOM reconciliation.
- Entering and overseeing all Maintenance Requests for Production (portaloos, hire buildings, damaged buildings, signs for active mining zones etc). Tracking of all hired assets such as hire buildings in the Open Pits.
- Managing absenteeism, Production roster & ensuring numbers required for production daily are met.
- Managing the correspondence and communications of the Open Pit Operations Leadership team.
- Enacting any reasonable request instructed by the Mining Superintendent.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need:
Experience:
Experience in a similar role, Strong commitment to following policies & procedures, High level of time management and organisational skills, Excellent communication skills, High level of computer literacy, particularly MS office suite.
Qualifications:
Current Unencumbered Western Australian “C” Class Drivers Licence, Administration qualification.
Passion for Growth:
A strong desire to be part of a team providing administrative support to the Open Pit Mining Production department, while contributing to Northern Star's dynamic work environment.
